“I began my civil engineering career with Morgan Sindall, successfully delivering projects ranging from £20 million developments, including schools, leisure centres, and ice rinks. I quickly advanced to lead major infrastructure projects valued at £300 million, working closely with National Highways to improve vital transportation networks. At Costain, as principal contractor, I managed complex pipeline infrastructure projects exceeding £500 million, collaborating with private landowners and local authorities on behalf of the government—consistently maintaining an impeccable zero-accident safety record.
More recently, with Kier Group, I played a pivotal role in the transformative High Speed 2 (HS2) project, valued at over £200 billion. I also worked with Skanska as the principal contractor on a £1 billion project as a major leading civil engineer, where they bought private lands and buildings to develop pathways for transport networks with National Highways. During my tenure with Balfour Beatty, I led utility infrastructure projects involving extensive landowner engagement and was responsible for preparing detailed constructability reports (PILs). These legal documents, developed in partnership with principal contractors and clients such as National Grid, supported the sustainable development of powerlines across private land.
These diverse and high profile experiences have equipped me with deep technical expertise, strategic stakeholder management skills, and an unwavering commitment to safe, efficient, and sustainable project delivery.
